Experienced Commercial Transaction Attorney Joins Selzer Gurvitch

Selzer Gurvitch welcomes Alonso Cisneros as a Partner in its Real Estate practice.

Mr. Cisneros has extensive experience advising and representing commercial banks, investment banks, regional and local banks, and other financial institutions in a variety of loan transactions secured by all asset classes including retail, office, hotel, industrial, multifamily, and mixed use.

Mr. Cisneros has handled a wide range of commercial real estate transactions including the acquisition, development, and disposition of real property. Further, he has worked on the origination of over $13 billion of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (GSEs) loans across multiple GSE product lines, such as seniors housing, targeted affordable housing, Shari’ah structures, manufactured housing, student housing, green financing, value-add, and moderate rehab.

Mr. Cisneros received his law degree from George Washington University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida. Prior to joining Selzer Gurvitch, he was a partner at an international law firm in their real estate finance group. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Cisneros served in the United States Marine Corps and completed his tour of duty as a Major.
