Brittany N. Oravec
Associate
Brittany Oravec has dedicated her career to helping clients tackle their complicated tax and business issues in the context of achieving their business goals. As an associate in Selzer Gurvitch’s Corporate/Business and Tax practice groups, Ms. Oravec carefully analyzes each client’s specific situation and then develops creative solutions while ensuring that the client understands and appreciates how these solutions will work in the long-term. Ms. Oravec works with corporate and individual clients to assist with various tax planning needs within business transactions, to optimize their tax position from the planning stage, to federal and state business and tax filings, and through federal and state audits and appeals.
Prior to joining Selzer Gurvitch, Ms. Oravec served as a tax controversy associate at an Am Law 100 firm, a tax associate for a multi-national Fortune 500 company, and a tax and estate planning associate for an international tax law firm.
Ms. Oravec graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in French, and went on to obtain her Juris Doctor, with a Tax Law concentration, from George Mason University in 2016. Ms. Oravec then graduated from Georgetown Law School with distinction, with her LL.M. in Tax and a Certificate in International Tax.
