Brian D. Kotzker
Shareholder
Brian is a fifth generation Washingtonian, and is well versed with DMV business and real estate, from both an historical as well as a pragmatic perspective. His early professional years as a CPA, and his strong academic performance at the University of Maryland, College Park, and University of Baltimore School of Law, combined with his exceptional “street sense,” tenacity and calm demeanor even under pressure, make him a trusted and valued legal counsel to clients.
The scope of Brian’s practice includes business law, commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions and leasing, as well as business dispute resolution, landlord-tenant issues and commercial lending. His clients include regional real estate investors, developers and management companies engaged in office, retail, warehouse, mixed use and industrial properties, restaurant owners, professional service providers and other attorneys seeking his representation, as well as serving as counsel to regional not-for-profit entities.
A graduate of the University of Maryland — where he received an Accounting degree and was a member of the Beta Alpha Psi Honorary Accounting Society, — Brian earned his J.D. degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He is admitted to practice in both Maryland and the District of Columbia.
